Dr. Jiaqing Jiang is a research assistant professor in the School of Engineering at Westlake University. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Zhejiang University (2014), M.S. in Earthquake Engineering from Imperial College London (2015), and Ph.D. in Bridge and Tunnel Engineering from Zhejiang University (2022). Subsequently, he conducted postdoctoral research at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Zhejiang University. His current research interests focus on elastic metamaterials, laminated composite structures and mixed finite element methods. Dr. Jiang currently leads two National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects about active metamaterials and has published more than 15 papers in internationally renowned journals.
